Welcome to the Gender Equality
Peace and Development Centre (GEPaDC)!
Founded in 2008 and officially registered in 2010, the Gender Equality Peace and Development Centre (GEPaDC) has become a vital force for change in Northeast and Northwest Nigeria, focusing on the unique challenges faced by women and girls amid socio-economic instability and conflict. With a dedicated team of over 200 staff and volunteers, GEPaDC has implemented diverse programs in education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and advocacy, all aimed at uplifting women and girls. Through workshops and community outreach, the organization facilitates skill development and provides essential resources, empowering women to take control of their lives and futures.
GEPaDC's grassroots approach is key to its success, fostering trust and collaboration with the communities it serves. By actively listening to the needs and aspirations of women and girls, GEPaDC designs relevant and sustainable programs that reflect local cultural dynamics. The organization also emphasizes inclusivity by partnering with local leaders, organizations, and government bodies to create a comprehensive support network. As GEPaDC continues to evolve, it remains committed to building a more equitable society where every woman and girl can thrive, contributing to a brighter future for Nigeria.
